International Cora - Victoria, BC

Welcome to Canada.
From Paulsbo, WA, the Djeneba and the Wanagan II (one of our three companion boats by the end of the trip) made our way north across the Straits and the border to Victoria on Vancouver Island.

Mom is pointing to our starting place in Tacoma;
you can see the "you are here" red dot up above.
Wanagan II belongs to George and Kathy Weyerhaeuser, who quickly became Cora fans. Kathy would often whisk Cora off down the docks for walks and bird/people watching.

In Victoria, the whole group disembarked for a tour of the town. We visited the Empress Hotel, ate fish-n-chips, and made some friends as we meandered the cobblestone streets.

That night, the view from the Djeneba featured the BC legislature building across the harbor.
