Cora has been having a blast with Gigi (and Babu, when he's in town) for the past week. They are in town for two weeks helping us get through a month without daycare.
While Nate & I are at work and Babu is traveling during the week, Gigi and Cora have been spending lots of time in the yard. Especially in Cora's swing:
When Jimbo came back on Friday, we all met him at the airport with a balloon for his 62nd birthday. We grilled ribs and zucchini in the yard for his b-day dinner, and had strawberry shortcake for dessert.

Little Miss has been having a lot of trouble sleeping through the night again this week... and yesterday I discovered why. She has sprouted TWO new teeth. One we've been expecting: the other middle bottom tooth. The other was a surprise, breaking the skin of her upper gums on the far right side where her canine teeth will be.
But she's been making good use of those teeth (and gums). She loves feeding herself with Cheerios and soft pieces of sweet potato and banana. She is a pro at holding and drinking out of her sippy cup. Our little girl is so independent!

Of course, all this new movement means that life is a bit more hazardous for Munchkin. She's fallen off our bed, had her finger closed in a kitchen cabinet door (both of those were my fault), and taken a tumble off Gigi and Babu's bed. Where is this girl's helmet?
Also, Crouton is cute.
| Leelee has started going outside, but Crouton isn't interesting in moving much beyond this spot on the couch. |
