27 weeks - a tooth-shaped gummy grin

Good morning! Last week was nuts with Philly travel and work - over this week and next I am sending three teams of grad student researchers to four different states for data collection... a logistical nightmare.

But we had a fabulous, sunny weekend in Ithaca. Lots of work in the garden, going to the Ithaca Plant Sale, and trying to figure out why Cora was so fussy.

Turns out, Baby Girl is working on two bottom teeth. They just look like little tooth-shaped ridges under her gums right now. She seemed to have the most irritation on Sunday - she acted tired all day, but wouldn't nap longer than half an hour at any time. For a couple hours around 4-6pm she fussed and cried if I didn't distract her with something new every few minutes. But then it seemed to go away and she was wide awake and happy until 9pm (!) when she went to sleep in her crib with less than 10 minutes of fussing. She even slept through the night, thank goodness.

Today she is home with Nate, organizing CDs and making a Home Depot run.
