Papa & Nana arrival

Nate is taking the fast modem on his five-day trip today, so it's likely my last chance until the weekend to post photos. These are all from Ron & Kathy's camera - thanks!

The road into Yabello is a lot greener than we last saw it

Ron and Kathy arrived with lots of gifts and necessities from the States - here is Cora in one of her two new onesies, this one decorated by Papa. She looks like a superhero in it, so she's looking at herself in the mirror and either saying "up up and away" or "I'm number one"!

She also got a new dress and some crayons, which are a huge hit
It rained most of the afternoon, so Cora practiced some puddle stomping and tried out Nana's rain jacket.

Earlier in the day we went out on our normal rounds to buy bread, drink chai at Mekdes' shop, and visit the kitten at the souki on the way to town.
Mekdes' mother was making the daily injera for their restaurant when we visited for chai
Cora's daily kitten fix
Nate took the day off so we had him to ourselves for the whole weekend
Ron caught me looking pregnant in the doorway while Nate and Cora played in the rain
