This summer, the kids and I left a bit earlier than Nate to head to Vermont. We traveled on three flights via London and Chicago to Burlington. It was a long, but uneventful trip with my little helpers.

For the first days, we stayed at Janet and Peter's house in South Hero. We were hoping to finalize the buying of our Knuckle Rock camp, but it hadn't happened by the time we arrive.
On the first morning in Vermont, Mandy invited us to help her with early chores at her barn since we woke early with jet lag.

By Wednesday, we'd organized a trip across the lake by Whaler to do a walk-through of the property. Pete brought the Whaler to the beach via tractor, which pleased the kids to no end.
The kids and I went for a biking adventure around South Hero one day and got caught in a rain storm while visiting Pam and Ray's house. They were troopers and wanted to finish the ride instead of getting a ride home in Ray's truck.
On Friday, the sale of Knuckle Rock was complete! Just in time for the start of Cousin's Weekend. J&P brought their camper over to Everest Beach Camp to stay for the weekend, too.

On Sunday, Cora and Silas organized a 14th of July Parade at camp. There's a video on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/lori.guinipero/videos/10220029961167400/
Before heading to Minnesota for a couple weeks, we had a few days to explore and enjoy our new camp.
