Lots more family turned up on Saturday to celebrate with us. Soon we had a forest of tents in the yard, home to brother Dave, sister Karisa and family, cousin Jonathan, and cousin Mandy and Skylar.
More cousins means more fun for Cora and Silas. Here are the Thomson girls (Alivia and Myla) in their tent with Cora, who made herself comfortable.

The big Cornell-related event on Saturday, May 24, was the PhD Hooding Ceremony for doctoral students in all disciplines. Nate looked pretty snazzy in his robes:

Back at home, I made a champagne toast to Dr. Nate. So proud of my guy.

That night was Alivia and Myla's first experience sleeping in a tent -- good job, girls!
