Vet School open house

On Saturday we attended the 48th annual Cornell Vet School Open House. It was just another example of why raising kids in a college town is so great -- if our kids were older they could have taken facility tours and talked with current students about becoming a veterinarian. But the open house had plenty for littles to enjoy, too...

A giraffe hand painting
A horse of a different color
Milking a cow
A working smithy
Prepping for panda surgery
The assistant is ready too

Choosing a bandage color from the vet student surgeon (note the IV in panda's arm)

Using the stethoscope on panda and then Mom

Petting day old chicks and week old lambs and piglets

This was the best show. You told me but seeing it was even better.
