Dragon Day at Cornell

Cornell has a tradition called Dragon Day which involves a student parade, a dragon built by the Arts students, and a phoenix built by Engineering students. This year, the Physics students got in on the action by building a purple unicorn. We don't know why, but we like it.

Nate brought the kids to campus to see the goings on, and we happened to run into Cora's daycare buddies (Lucy and Wyatt) and their mom, Erin.

Roar! Our little dragons
The dragon was a little disappointing this year - it looked like it was made out of aluminum foil and that they had run out partway through. But our kids "roaring" at the parade were a pretty big hit among the student photographers.

The dragon parade was kicked off by students dressed as the Pope, Hillary Clinton,
and Putin playing the drums, among others.
