Enosburg Dairy Festival

Cora and I are still staying in an Internet-less cabin, so my blog updating has obviously been quite sparse.... But this evening we ate dinner at Janet's house (while J&P are traveling in WA state) and I'm sneaking a bowl of Peter's vanilla ice cream and uploading photos while Mandy swings with the kids outside.

The weather has turned around this week and gone straight to summer. It was 90 degrees today. Luckily our cabin is quite breezy and shady, so we stay cool. But visits to Burlington and Enosburg over the last two days showed us that some folks are sweltering in this humidity and heat.

In reverse chronological order, here are pics from our fun summery activities over the last three days. We are doing our best to help Mandy make the most of her week off!

Today we went to the Enosburg Dairy Festival and parade.

Karisa brought Alivia and Myla to see their first parade, and Alivia really caught on quickly to the candy grabbing thing. She and Skylar were inseparable basically all morning and afternoon, I think there is a real friendship developing there.

Alissa and Lienna came along despite their jet lag from a recent trip to Iceland. Poor Lienna was not a fan of anyone in the parade dressed like an animal, of which there were several. But she seemed to enjoy the marching bands a lot.

I was there with Cora, who was more interested in Myla's cheerios than the parade:

OK the kiddos came in and it's time to get Cora home to bed in the cabin... more photos to come, some other time!
